CORPORATE WELLNESS PROGRAMS
SESSION HIGHLIGHTS
Movement sessions will include a blend of traditional yoga postures and somatic movement inquiry. The sessions will work towards improving strength, flexibility and mobility. Depending on the program selected, each session will focus on either building energy (Recharge), developing awareness and taking charge of stress and nervous system reactions and responses (Resilience) or creating ease through greater movement efficiency (Synergy). Movement is medicine, and healthy bodies support happy humans in the workplace. All of our movement sessions are designed so that all participants of all levels of experience and ability can enjoy simple movements in their bodies.
Breath is the largest and most under-appreciated resource that we have available to us. Each program includes a breath work session that will draw upon a science-based approach to how breath directly impacts our mental health, energy, clarity, and our capacity to become more resilient individuals. Different breath techniques have been known to produce specific outcomes. We will select the techniques and tools according to your program and needs.
Each program includes a mindfulness session designed according to your selected program or area of focus. Overall, mindfulness allows us to grow awareness of our own personal reactions, responses, and how we interact with the world around us (our coworkers and communities for example). It allows us to identify and overcome habits and patterns that may be holding us back from being our optimal selves. Our mindfulness sessions will help participants to improve the way they manage challenges and stress, identify and improve postural patterns that may be affecting their health, and create greater synergy through mindful communication.
Each program includes an area of special focus that is designed to give participants an extra boost through creativity hacks, positive psychology and stress-reductions toolkits, or resources to manage pain. This area of special focus can also be customized depending depending on the workplace needs.
*As the intention of our program is to improve office wellbeing and workplace interactions, we recommend that the sessions should be done in person rather than online.
*Some of the sessions may involve employees participating in teams. Discussion and sharing may also be part of the team activities.
*Movement classes can be organized as outdoor sessions or onsite (number of participants will depend on available space)
*We do not provide yoga mats. Participants will have to bring their own mats. If participants do not have access to a yoga mat, a large beach towel will work as well.
